Where can I find a complete description of the Trello JSON format ?

frederic Jugé June 5, 2023

Good morning I did a JSON export of my Trello cards to convert them to Excel format. But I can't find everything I need, ie the date of creation of a card, its label, and the column in which it is located. Where can I find a complete description of the JSON format used by Trello? Thank you so much.

Hi Frederic,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

First, have you tried looking through the article we have concerning how to make sense of Trello's JSON export? You can find it at https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/making-sense-of-trellos-json-export/

Hope it brings a little more clarity!

I can also suggest trying to search (using the default Cmd+F on macOS or Ctrl+F on Windows in your browser) for fields with names like "date", "list", and "labels" if you want to find exact info about cards. These details would look similar to the pieces below (I've obfuscated some identifiable information with ***):

"date":"2023-06-06T11:13:38.889Z"
"list":{"id":"***","name":"***"}
"labels":[{"id":"***","idBoard":"***","name":"Green","color":"green"}]

 I hope this information helps!
