When you share a board with someone, do they need a password?

Anna Oaks July 15, 2024

The person I just shared my board with can't seem to get access without a password. Do I share my personal password from my own Trello account??

Hi @Anna Oaks ,

no, please don't share your password with anyone. They need to create their own account with their password based on the e-mail address you've shared your board with.

@Anna Oaks if they have been invited by the link they just need to login using their own cred and should be good to go.

Hi there,

Never share your Trello password with anyone. You can invite them to the board using their email address and ask them to accept the access. They can review the board using their own Trello login ID and password.

Note: Just make sure they have the right permissions assigned to that specific Trello board.
