What's the best way to maintain an overdue Due Date when marking done??

Community Leaders are connectors, ambassadors, and mentors. On the online community, they serve as thought leaders, product experts, and moderators.
I want to measure missed deadlines in reporting but when a Card is moved to Done and Butler marks Due Date complete, there's no where to see the delay.
Herewith a practical example:
- I've set a card with a Due Date back in August
- Now it's been marked as Done, it maintains the Due Date, looking like it was completed in August, which is totally not ideal.
EDIT: Not sure why Community listed my product in the OP as "Free Plan". We pay for Premium.
