Using Trello with our Atlassian Account

I would like to start using Trello, and am having a bit of a problem. 

Our company currently uses JIRA Software and Confluence, and have claimed domains for our Atlassian accounts. 

We haven't ever used Trello so far, but have been considering using Trello to onboard new hires. However, when I try to sign into Trello, I get a message that says "{"error":"SIGNUP_MANAGED_ATLASSIAN_ACCOUNT_RESTRICTION","message":"Email is restricted to Atlassian account signup"}"

Is there a certain setting that we need to alter to make this work?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi, 

There is actually a known bug where the Google option within the Trello signup page is not working. The bug can be tracked on https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ID-7540. 

To workaround it, you can use the following method to sign-up. 

• Go to https://trello.com/signup
• Enter your Google email address and click on Continue
• On the next page (id.atlassian.com), use the Continue with Google option.

Hi All, 

We are facing the same issue.

We have some contractors who are part of our JIRA and Confluence. In the past, they were able to collaborate on our Trello board, but as of a couple of days ago they're getting the exact same error message as above when trying to log in to Trello.

Can anybody offer assistance, please?

Here are some steps Atlassian support shared with me: 

There is actually a known issues as reported on bug ID-7544, where Google users are unable to sign up in Trello when using the Google option from the Trello sign up page. To workaround the problem :

• Go to https://trello.com/signup (do not use the Google option from this page).

• Enter the email address and click on Continue

• On the next page, click on Continue with Google.

Please give it a try and let me know if your end users are able to sign up.

Any progress on fixing the bug though?
