Updating Template card doesn't update existing cards using that template

I'm new to Trello and trying to manage/organize my portion of a project.

I've created a Template Card for sites that I'm working on.

The template card has a description of what needs done and contains a checklist.

I created several sites using my template and then I went back and added a line to my checklist in the template card.

I would like to "push" the updated checklist to cards that are already using that template, is there a way to do that?

Partially answering my own question:

I do see how I can add a checklist from other cards, so I can manually add a checklist from my template with the updated checklist.

It would be nice if when opening the card, it notified me that checklist had been updated and Trello asks if I want to update my card.
