Does anyone know who creates and maintains the Trello triggers and action in Zapier? The update card in the current implementation does not allow for update of custom fields. Prior to this which is still available on Trello (legacy) connection allows for it. Can you help get this message to the right party?
(could it be because my boards had custom fields because these were boards from days before the new standard and premium plans took effect)
There may be other differences. Share them here if you have observed any. Thanks.
Hi @milynnus !
I don't have a direct contact to a Zapier developer to help you, but you might have some luck reaching out to their support team directly! https://zapier.com/app/get-help
In any case, creating/updating/deleting custom fields are all actions supported by the Trello API, so it is possible to have it integrated in Power-Ups: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/trello/rest/api-group-customfields/#api-group-customfields
Hopefully that helps!
Follow up as you have advised. Zapier support has accepted this as an issue. I will be tracking this and update here when I have updates from Zapier.

Received email that this is fixed. I have not tested it. Let me know if you are able to test it. Thanks.

Had a similar situation reported to me this morning. My client's Create Card did not populate the custom fields. I had to rebuild the zap step.
Update: just had another case today.

Great to hear that. I have seen some very strange situations over the past 24 hours including a case when I am edit a zap, the connect had changed to a different customer account. I have that customer's Trello board opened on the browser. This is quite alarming.

if you still have the option using the legacy trello integration on zapier makes all those functions work, also they just pushed a fix this afternoon for the custom fields but unfortunately the list is still in ID format and doesnt have the name
