Unable to launch Trello on Windows 11

Installed via Microsoft Store, but unable to launch.
Tried to uninstall/install again.
Launching as Administrator permits a few seconds of the app to be open, but closes again without iteration.

Someone knows this behaviour?

Hey all! The latest update should now work in Windows 11 (sorry for the false alarm earlier). Can you all update your app and see if it's working now? @Bruno Cas @Marta Kadlecová @Ruth Rushton @Abdulrahman Alyahya @Felipe Henríquez @Vladimir Personal @Mickele Nowden @Carlos Terceros @Ryan Marcell @Flavio Pinto @Martin Staples @Anthony edward Caushi Leigh (sorry if I've missed any tags)

Hi @Alex Waite - it's still doing the same thing. I can login and then as the first board is loading, it crashes out again. Only seems to get that far if I run as administrator too, doesn't open at all if I just open the app.

@Ruth Rushton - have you updated the app from the Windows store?

Hi @Alex Waite yes, I uninstalled and reinstalled.

@Ruth Rushton - can you raise this as a ticket with Trello Support so I can escalate this to our dev team? Sorry, I can't grab your email to raise a ticket on your behalf. You can raise a ticket at https://trello.com/contact - if you link this question thread to the ticket, we'll be able to pick up where you and I left off.

Same problem here. I just updated to Windows 11 and now Trello won't open in regular mode. In Admin mode, I can start the login process and then it crashes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Trello several times.

I am also having this problem with Windows 11. Trello is on version 2.12.5.0. Are there any news regarding this issue? I am trying the free month premium version but I am afraid this would be a dealbreaker for me.

Hi Bruno,

Thanks for reaching out!

We can take a closer look – would you mind creating a ticket over at https://trello.com/contact?

In your ticket, please attach the desktop app logs. You can find that by going to the navigation bar in the top of your desktop, select the Help option > then select the Export logs option. Attach the log file to your reply so that we can inspect it.

Those results may contain a small amount of user identifiable information, like your username. The results will give us a bit more information on what the problem might be.

Thanks for your help on this, and this'll help us get to the bottom of things!

All the best,

Lara
The Trello Team

I have the same problem with windows 11, the app only open for a few seconds and suddenly close without response

Like Carlos Terceros likes this

"select the Help option > then select the Export logs option. Attach the log file to your reply so that we can inspect it."

I cannot do that because the program is not able to still open for more than a few seconds.

Hi Bruno and Anthony,

Could you please reach out at https://trello.com/contact so we can take a closer look?

If you're unable to get the desktop app logs, that's okay!

All the best,

I have the same issue with Windows 11.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Trello app twice.  The app will start to launch, but never fully launches then closes.

I am suffering the same problem. I click on Trello software many times before it opens, to close again after a few seconds.

Same here. Every time I open the Trello desktop app in Windows 11, it crashes/closes anywhere from 1 to 10 seconds later. I've uninstalled/reinstalled the app several times, rebooted, etc. I submitted a support ticket that contained the error logs from Windows. In the meantime were any of you able to find a solution?

Hi everyone (@Bruno Cas @Ryan Marcell @Flavio Pinto @Martin Staples @Anthony edward Caushi Leigh),

Thanks for your patience here!

We have release a new version of desktop today (v. 2.12.4) which should work on Windows 11.

Could you please uninstall and reinstall the app and let us know if that works?

I'd recommend uninstalling the desktop app following these instructions: https://help.trello.com/article/1107-how-to-uninstall-the-trello-desktop-app

I'll keep an eye out for your reply,

I have the same problem with windows 11, just install the app and only open for a few seconds and suddenly close without response

I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple time and am still having this issue. Did anyone else get a resolution? I am also using windows 11

I have the same problem, just uninstalled and installed the last version from Microsoft Store and it crashes immediately, had have this issue since I upgraded to Win11 a couple of months ago, never had this issue with Win10. Logs cannot be exported because the app closes instantly.

Same problem here!

I still face the same problem.

This issue is not fixed in the last update. (Windows 11)

I'm also having the same issue - uninstalled and reinstalled Trello and still don't get any further than being able to log into Trello before it closes on me - don't even get as far as seeing the homescreen or any boards etc.

I am also having this problem with Windows 11. Trello is on version 2.12.5.0. Are there any news regarding this issue? I am trying the free month premium version but I am afraid this would be a dealbreaker for me.
