Trello with Google Drive link

Hello,

I work remotely and have been invited to use Google Drive as part of a team.  I'm also invited to use their Trello board.

When I create a Trello card from a template, as part of the process I need to add a google drive link.  That link needs to take me (and anyone else using the card) to the team drive.

When the team create a card and the link is on it - I can access the team drive. But when I create the card - I can only add my own google drive.

Can this be done or do I need the owner of the google drive in question to add that link?

In order to add a link to the team drive on a Trello card that you create, you will need to have the necessary permissions to access and share files in the team drive. If you are only able to add your own Google Drive link, it suggests that you may not have the required permissions to access the team drive directly.

To resolve this, you can reach out to the owner or administrator of the team drive and request access or permission to share the team drive link. Once you have the necessary permissions, you should be able to add the team drive link to the Trello card template and access it as needed.

Alternatively, you can also consider asking the owner or administrator of the team drive to directly add the link to the Trello card template for you, ensuring that everyone who uses the card can access the team drive easily.

Remember, the ability to add a team drive link to a Trello card depends on the permissions you have for the team drive, so it's important to ensure you have the appropriate access rights.
