I know there are abundant articles and resources on this, but I wonder what the options are here from veteran Trello users.

Are there things that Trello do that Notion can't?

I see the advantages of Trello as

Anything else?

Welcome @Terence Lee MD to the community,

From my knowledge, I can say Trello and Notion are both popular productivity tools, but they have different focuses and features:

Simple and easy to learn: Trello's user interface is straightforward, making it easy for new users to understand and use the tool.

Kanban board: Trello is based on a Kanban board system, which is excellent for visualizing and managing tasks and workflows.

Real-time collaboration: Trello excels at real-time collaboration, allowing teams to work together effectively.

Integrations: Trello supports various integrations (Power-Ups) that can enhance its functionality, such as calendar view and custom fields.

Pricing: Trello offers a free plan with basic features, as well as affordable paid plans with more advanced features.

Versatility: Notion is a powerful all-in-one workspace, combining note-taking, databases, and project management in a single tool.

Database features: Notion has robust database features, allowing you to create, customize, and link databases for advanced organizations.

Rich text editor: Notion's editor supports various content types, like text, images, videos, and embeds, allowing you to create rich documents.

Templates: Notion offers a wide range of templates to help you get started quickly, including project management, notes, and more.

Pricing: Notion also has a free plan, but its paid plans can be more expensive compared to Trello.

In summary, I can say Trello is an excellent choice for simple project management and real-time collaboration, while Notion is a versatile tool with powerful database and document editing features. Choose the tool that best aligns with your requirements and preferences.
