Trello not working in Chrome

Tina Skulima February 21, 2024

Whenever I log in, the website stops reacting after a few seconds or a little time. It's not loading the cards' content properly either. I just updated Chrome to Version 122.0.6261.57, still not functioning properly. I can use Safari but that inconvenient.

MacBook Air Sonoma 14.2.1 (23C71) here but my colleagues couldn't use it either a few weeks ago.

Thanks again! I'm not worried about my Trello data but about the rest of the data used by Chrome.

Visibility is not my problem, I think, though I couldn't find the function you mentioned. The cards aren't loading properly and the buttons don't react as soon as I open a card.

Welcome to the community @Tina Skulima !

From the Atlassian status, Trello is fully operational.

  • Have you tried cleaning your cache?
  • Use the incognito mode to load Trello?

However, currently there is an error showing for some users that there is an error connecting to their board.

Try logging out and logging back in to Trello.

Thank you, Nikola!

I checked the status and was surprised to find no problem there.
I cleared the cache, logged out and back in again – still not working.
Will try incognito mode, have never used that.

I got a "Fehlercode 5", Chrome has problems loading the website.

Incognito mode seems to work, thank you! Still, it would be cool to use Trello in Chrome without that workaround. :)

Yeah I agree with you. Another thing that you can do is to uninstall the Chrome browser and install it again. And usually is other way around that Safari has some issues and Chrome runs smoothly with Trello.

Tina Skulima February 21, 2024

Thank you. Do you know if uninstalling and installing Chrome again makes me lose any settings? Probably not.
I was surprised to find my clients at the table had the same problem with Trello when we used it in a session two or three weeks ago.

It does not lose any data, since everything is hosted on the Atlassian cloud. Try doing that.

Also for your workspace, check the visibility of that workspace - is it private

Understood, I have tagged Atlassian on this issue as well for a higher visibility of this ticket.
