Trello crashing on launch after High Sierra update on iMac 2017

donny November 16, 2020

Just did a High Sierra update on my iMac 2017 and it crashes on launch. Has anyone had the same problem and how did you fix it.

Got all this in the crash report but doesn't mean anything to me....

Hi Donny,

Can you try a clean reinstall using these steps: [How to Uninstall the Trello Desktop App|https://help.trello.com/article/1107-how-to-uninstall-the-trello-desktop-app] to see if that helps? A normal fresh install via the AppStore might not be helping with that issue as many files do not get removed during that process. The steps outlined in the link mentioned above should do the trick.

Thanks!

Ryan

Already did it and on top of that used an app cleaner to clear out any other Trello files. Didn’t work unfortunately.
