Trello checklist sorting problem

Morten Johannessen June 30, 2024

After updating, it is not possible to sort older checklists. If you create new lists, you can sort, looks like.

The June 18, 2024 update is the problem. On 2 of the devices it is updated and I have problems. On 1 device it is not updated and I have no problems.

No problem to sort on normal computers in online version.

@Morten JohannessenI'm having the same problem, I noticed that this week I couldn't reorder the items in the checklists. I'm having this problem with the website and the Windows Desktop application.

Trello updated the app again. They must have received a lot of complaints. It's been about a month since they updated again, and since then everything has worked fine. If it doesn't, I would update it. I have never experienced problems with the web version. I use Google Chrome

Hello, Morten!

Not sure if you want to sort lists instead of checklists; Currently, there isn't a sort button for checklists, but on the web version, you can change the order by dragging and dropping. I was able to sort lists, including older ones, on my Android device. Could you let me know if you're using an iOS or Android device? One workaround could be to copy the list onto the board to replace the older one and see if sorting works. This might help resolve the issue you're facing.

Let me know if this brings up any new questions.

Kind regards
Alisson
