I'm having trouble accessing the menu icon for trello lists
Works fine with certain workspaces, but not with others. Clicking on the 3-dots does not open the menu. Meaning I can't archive lists, etc.
Tried:
- Relaunching + Incognito browser
- 3 different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)
- Disabling power-ups, extensions
Any other ideas are welcomed
Is this happening on all your boards, or just this one?
Happening on all (7) of them in one of my workspaces, 1/3 in guest workspaces, and 0 the rest of my workspaces.
Weird thing is, everyone who tries to use the menu, experiences the same issue as me. Except, for the the previous owner of my workspace boards (I took over management of the one Workspace)

I'm not able to reproduce this - Did you disable all power ups at once? Is there a power up that all 7 boards share in common (if so, can you confirm that you disabled it and if you still see the error?)

Thanks for the response Andrea. A colleague suggested it might be a bug on the trello side to do with plugins/power up loading. It may work for some with an older version of the browser app.
All power ups + plugins were disabled, but still experiencing an issue.

@Aashikah Abdulla Sorry it took me so long - I finally was able to reproduce this error.
The issue happens when the Time Tracker - Chronos Power-up has been added to the board but hasn't been authorized. In order to fix the issue, either completely disable the power up to remove it from the board, or authorize it (see screenshots below).
I've reported this issue to our Power-up team. Please let me know if this doesn't unblock you.

Didn't realise I needed to completely remove it, but that resolved the issue.
You are amazing Andrea, thanks so much!

@Andrea Crawford getting same issue across all boards on my computer and not seeing any populated activity.
Have to click on Activity to view updates.
Seems to only be my computer, other colleague's are able to view the menu by Clicking on the 3-dots
No power-ups are enabled.

@kristi_lewis This is a different issue, but I'm experiencing the same as you as well. Started a few days ago. No idea why

Hi @Aashikah Abdulla and @kristi_lewis - could you share a screenshot of your console when this issue occurs?

@Andrea Crawford There's nothing in the console. The activity use to load by default, but now we're having to click on the Activity to see updates

I see what you're seeing now. Thanks for reporting this, I can help clarify a bit about where the board activity went! Rather than being loaded immediately in the board menu, it’s now in the Activity section of the board menu. Clicking that section will bring up the same activity feed you’re used to.
We were previously loading a good number of recent activities each time a board loaded. This caused a bit of a performance hit without a strong benefit. People go to the board menu for a lot of different purposes, and we noticed that scanning the board activity wasn’t necessarily one of the top priorities for most users. Because of this, we moved it to its own dedicated section to help boost board performance.
If you have any questions, or anything else about this change that you’d like me to pass along to the rest of the team, don’t hesitate to let me know.
