Trello / Gmail is showing as installed but no right side bar visible with Trello icon on iPhone

Help please! 

So frustrated- and no direct link to Trello support just this community board???

Trello / Gmail showing as installed. 
All info says I should see a right side view bar when individual emails are open in Gmail and there will be a Trello icon to select.

I cannot see any right side bar on my iPhone.  Is the right side bar visible on the iPhone?
If so how do I turn it on? (Have looked everywhere under settings etc). 
If there is a right side bar visible in Gmail on iPhone - should I immediately be able to see Trello icon/ symbol once it is made visible?

Unless the power up is built by Trello, the support is unlikely to be built into Trello app. This is not unexpected since Trello would not be able to support the many commercially available add on in the marketplace. 

if usage on mobile is required, look for power up that allows for some automation via the comment eg ‘@reply send_invoice’ to act as a trigger.
