×My Trello Free Account has suddenly asked for two factor authentication.
It seems to want to text my phone, but no messages arrive.
I have not set up an external app—though I commonly use Duo, which I can see has an Atlassian tool for authentication.
How can I get tech support help me with this?
I have reset my password, which seems to be crippling my access as my instances of Trello on various devices seem to lose access.
A few more notes on my question:
1. to post this I signed in using my Google account.
2. in the past my actual Trello account, which is linked my @illinois.edu email was flagged because an organization within my university shifted their account structure. My account was never linked to their organization, but it was swept up. Part of me thinks this may be linked, as the behavior is similar to what I experienced previously.
Hi

I will try, but based on these titles it suggests that I would need to be able to log in to the account to access and manage settings.

UPDATE: It occurred to me that my organization subscribes to Google Apps, so I might be able to authenticate with my account this way.
Boom. it was successful. I do not know why or when, but my original account and password, which is not the same as my organization password, seeks to ask me to authenticate via 2FA. But when I authenticate via Google, which sends me to my organization 2FA, it allows me to log-in.
I'm still unsure what caused this change... but I am up and running for now.
