Can I set year as default in timeline view? If so, how? It keeps going back to 'week' as a default but would like to change this

@Valerie welcome to the community! Trello doesn't actually have a way to do this natively, although I agree that would be a nice feature!

If you need something in the meantime, I've made this automation that everytime you visit a URL in Trello that contains Timeline (aka, you go to a timeline view for any board), it will automatically set it to Year. 

If you want to activate it, use this link: https://app.pixiebrix.com/activate?id=@pixie-britt/always-show-trello-timeline-in-year

You'll need to create a PixieBrix account and install the Chrome Extension, which is all free and just takes a minute. But then you should be good to activate that link and when you go to a timeline in trello (in Chrome, not the desktop) you'll see it defaults to Year.
