Hi Folks,
one of my clients asked today if it is possible to timestamp when a new item is added to an existing checklist.
I note that when you add a new checklist it is timestamped and also timestamped when an item is ticked completed however cannot see the new item timestamp.
Any suggestions welcomed.
Thanks
Peter C
Hi Peter,
Thanks for reaching out!
While we currently show when a checklist item is added to a checklist (feature request ✅), you could set up a Butler command as a workaround.
Here's the example command:
In this example, we've used variables to pull information from the card and add it as a comment on the card. You can read more about variables here: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/butler-variables/
You can find the "post comment" action under the Content tab.
Please let us know if you have any other questions, and we'll be happy to help.
All the best,
Lara

Thanks for the response. I will show my client how to do this.
Regards,
Peter C.
