When trying so move cards to another board we thet the error message:
Running "Till KLC-företag" on board "Leverans"
There are too many custom fields on the board. Remove some to add more.
Total operations: 1
This dosn't appear on all cards, just on ah few and we can't see the differns in the card.
How can we troubleshoot this?
The custom field limit I think is 50, are you really using 50 custom fields?
There is a little issue where if you move cards from 1 board with a certain set of custom fields, completed, they will be then added as new ones to the board it is moved to. To prevent this, you can ensure that the custom fields you don't want on the board you move to are cleared before moving. The best way is by automation...
No I only have 29 custom fields on each card, and I wan't all of them mooved to the other board. The thing is that some cards cand be moved by automation, but some cards I get the errormessage, and I can't see the difference in the card that can be mooved, and the one that can't.

So does that mean you are trying to move a card with 29 custom fields completed to a board that already has more than 21 custom fields on it?
The 50 custom field limit is there, it's hard and in my experience, any more than about 15 custom fields becomes unpleasant and unmanageable.
Can I ask, what kind of things are you storing that require so many?

We use the custom fields to register agreements. On our board "Leverans," we have a template with 29 fields, this is copied to another board called "KLC Företag," and no custom fields are added to that board, so only the 29 fields should be on the card.
When I create a new card on the "Leverans" board with our template, I can then transfer it to the "KLC Företag" board, but it's only when I've filled in the fields that I encounter the error. And I can't see that any field would be incorrectly filled in.

I have now continued troubleshooting and found that the issue arises when I fill in certain custom fields. I fill in the fields with the correct type of data, e.g., dates, free text, selections in dropdown lists, etc. If I don't fill in any of the fields I'm having trouble with, I can move the card to another board, but if I input data, I receive the above error message.
There are 9 out of 21 fields that I'm having trouble with. Some of these 9 fields are old existing ones, and some are completely new.
