The email associated with my account has now been deleted (i no longer use it). As a result, i cannot access my trello account/boards as i cant use my old email to reset the account. Does anyone know how i can log back in?

If you can't access your old email address, then you are stuck. You need to be able to receive emails on it in order to reset the password on your Atlassian account.
You will have to create a new Atlassian account, and get another admin to give it permission to use your Trello system.
If you can't do that (you are the only admin of your Trello system), then you'll need to contact support to get the new account added as an admin. Use the support request options at https://support.atlassian.com/trello/
