I have always copied and pasted my gmails over to Trello. It helps me keep all data, files, and docs in one place. HOWEVER, the software updates have rendered Trello near worthless to me now. Here is a screenshot of what happens now when I copy and paste the contents of an email from gmail... it puts in all this weird code and html stuff. The old text editor was MUCH better and I can't seem to switch back. The old text editor on Trello automatically eliminated errant and random code that inserts weird spacing and pictures. How can I fix this? As of now, I have to copy my gmail in to a microsoft notes document and then copy that back to Trello, and then go back to fix all the weird spaces that it puts in there now and it takes forever.
Have you tried forwarding email instead of copying it https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/creating-cards-by-email/
