Hello, I've been trying to get a tax refund since my account was updated to tax exempt status. I have been told that you will need to cancel my account, downgrade it to a free account, and then rebill everything again. I've been told also that this "shouldn't" erase all the work that me and my team have already put into the workspace, boards, etc., as long as the account and workspace is within the limits of a free account. However, it is not. I don't want to take a chance that I'll lose all the work we've done thus far.
Can't I just get a refund of the tax? It seems like quite a process to just get $31.05 in taxes refunded, and possibly lose my work.
Thank you.
Hey @Jessica M Rotolo - I can see you raised a ticket about this internally that you have mentioned. We cannot support billing issues over the Community. Can you please reply to the ticket you've raised?
Hi @Jessica M Rotolo 👋
Welcome to the Community! I'm sorry to hear you've been having some issues, unfortunately this is an accounts / billing issue that you will need to go through Trello's support to raise which you can do here >> https://trello.com/en-GB/contact
They should be able to walk you through it and make sure nothing is lost. The only elements you may potentially lose is anything that is using features not available on the free plan. Again support should be able to clarify with you if this will happen.
I hope this helps but if you have any other questions just ask away 😃
All the best,
Laura
