I've been on Trello for years and both me and my client never had extensive issues with notifications (only shortly)...
Now, since the past month or two, neither of us gets ANY notifications at all. It just stopped cold turkey one day.
I've tried plenty of solutions:
And yet, we still haven't received any of the notifications ever since.
Is there anything that can be done?!

Have you by any chance viewed the update right after it appeared on the card? If you happen to see the update before the email arrives in your mailbox, the email itself won't be sent. This behavior is set by default to reduce the number of notifications of something you might've already seen.
I should also mention that if you keep your Trello tab with a card open for which you expect to receive a notification, you won't receive a notification about such an update because Trello will consider that you've already viewed the change.
