Hi.. On a few occassions when I'm listening to a podcast I've been able to click on the microphone and press play on a podcast. Trello was able to convert the podcast sound into text in the activity field. However it's random. Not sure why it works sometimes only. Is there a setting or preference that needs to be set or a particular way to get this working all the time?
Thanks
Hey @razz
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
I'm unsure whether this feature still exists natively on iOS or whether you're using a third-party app to convert audio from your device to text. Can you tell me more about how you convert audio to text on your device and send it to Trello? Because the only way I'm aware of converting audio to text is by using a third-party app on your device, and natively iOS can convert text to audio through shortcuts.
I'd love to hear how you did it.
Hi.
This has worked at random times which is why I was asking if there is some setting for it.
I'm using a Samsung S21 Ultra + Airpods and no 3rd party add-ons.
Currently you can click on the microphone icon and while in a trello field it will convert your speech into text.
I noticed that on random occasions I would simply click the microphone icon flip to my podcast and it would convert the podcast I'd be listening to into text in the trello field.
This would be a fantastic feature if it were an available in trello.

I see! Based on your description, it seems like you're talking about an accessibility feature called speech-to-text, and it's an accessibility feature available on multiple Android and iOS devices by default. So, I'm sure that if you open your keyboard, you'll have a microphone icon at the header of your keyboard that allows your keyboard to convert all your speech to text. I'm unsure if that would work when listening to songs or podcasts and converting them into text, but it could be something you could test as it's a native accessibility feature available on all devices.
Here are some useful resources I've found about the speech-to-text feature on Android, iOS, and when using AirPods:
I hope that helps!
