Hello, I have linked Slack to Trello and am trying to transfer a slack message with attachments into Trello. This works fine, except that the attachments lose their filetypes, are only a few kb in size (instead of a few hundred) and do not open even when the correct filetype is restored.
The attachments in the slack message are fine and intact, but once transferred they become corrupt.
Using the native connection and not a third-party plugin.
Any advice appreciated.
Hi @Marko Gerencir ,
I think it is not possible now to add attachments directly from Slack to Trello, you can take a look at this similar question here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-questions/Can-I-add-a-pdf-or-image-file-from-Slack-into-Trello/qaq-p/1624621
You can send your attachments in form of a link where your attachment is stored instead. Hope that helps.
