Showing the percentual of all boards and export to excel to creat KPI

Ricardo April 16, 2019

Hello, I'm using Trello to organize my projects (53 total), but i need some help to see the "big picture" of all of them.

To explain better my idea, I dont wanna to enter board to board ( to see the status of each one). I wanna click, in the first page "boards" or "Boards of team", and somehow show's the status of all of them. (I dont know how, and dont know if its possible).

For example, one board, has 2 cards to do it, 1 doing it and 3 Done (3/6% = 50% Done). After a one day of work, we change the status(1 card to do it, 1 doing and 4 Done) - The new percentual will be 66%). But this values will be showed at "boards" to all projects (of course, each one with your percentual).

If its possible to do that, we can do it exporting to excel?
Doing this, I can see the whole status of all projects at week, creating a KPI and maneging better the projects the "we" forgot to work.

Thanks for the help, and sorry about my English.

@Ricardo This is a good primer on exporting Trello data to Google Sheets:

http://www.littlebluemonkey.com/blog/automated-trello-reporting-using-google-spreadsheets

But you can also represent this in Trello by creating a "board of boards" which is my go-to approach for project management. So you have a board with one card per project, with lists representing high level project state and meta information about the project stored on each card, then each of those cards is linked to a project board:

https://blog.trello.com/related-cards-related-boards

Once you do this, you can automate some reporting. It looks like you can't use the Butler Power up to loop through all cards in a board, but here is a Trellinator command that will loop through all cards in the board, count the number of cards in To Do/Doing/Done and set those values as custom fields on the front of the cards once per hour:

You could do other things like measure card times in list and add a "Blocked" label to any card linked to a board where a card has been in the "Doing" list for more than 7 days, for example.

The "board of boards" setup is actually the example I give in my introduction/howto on setting up Trellinator:
