Rule trigger issue: When a card is added by anyone > Join the Card

I set up the rule "When a card is added to the board by anyone > join the card".

My goal is to have whoever created the card be automatically added to the card. However, this rule is only adding me to every card, I'm guessing because I created the rule. Is there another way I should go about this rule?

Thanks in advanced!

@Jessica Bolts hi there! welcome to the community! and yes, you'll need to use a butler variable to reference the person who did the action, to be added to the card. (Join refers to you, the person who built the automation, not the person triggering the action.)

Specifically you'll want to use {username}. Should look like this:

Awesome, this did the trick. Thanks, Brittany!

I've been trying to get this sorted for ages, thanks Brittany!
