Hopefully a simple question. I've tried a number of task management/project planning software options that don't notify me when a task is due or overdue, either via email, popup box, etc. This would seem elemental, and I suspect I'm just not executing things correctly, but it's a major problem for me. If I set a Trello task, and I presume there's a remind or "due" function, will it alert me in a way that's obvious? Thanks, Newbie.
Similar question. In Trello I'm setting dates for cards within boards which I've setup. I've give due date, set the card to watch, card says complete, set the board to watch, but still don't get email reminders. Really frustrating - have just missed an important deadline due to this.
If Trello is no good for this, can anyone suggest an alternative software program?
Hi @Wil Burns ! Welcome to the community :) You'll be notified of when a card is due only when you're following the card, list, or board (you'll automatically become a watcher of a card when you're assigned to it AKA when you're added as a member). More details here around notifications.

similar question. but different. how can we make reminders repeat? STEPS? does it require automation? STEPS? or have i overlooked feature? ex. send quarterly report every qtr ever yr forever, so there would be 4 reminders, every year, etc... THANKS!
