Recover deleted board

Claire BROUTY April 8, 2024

Good morning,
I deleted a board (not just closed), which I had previously copied.
However, the board copy no longer displays activity.
Is it possible for you to recover the initial table which was deleted?

Hi Stephen

Thanks

It didn't work I must have done something wrong.

Have a good day.

Claire.

Hi @Claire BROUTY

Deleting a Board is permanent - if you haven't just closed it, you can't recover it nor any information from within it.

This is also confirmed on this help page

Hi Stephen

Thank you for you answer.

When you copy a board it's too bad to lose the comments.

Hi @Claire BROUTY

You can copy individual lists though, and this includes comments. Then you can move those lists to a new board.

This is confirmed on this page:

Boards

You can even copy entire boards! Open the board's menu, then click More and choose Copy board. When a board is copied, we'll copy cards and their descriptions. We don't copy comments, card activity or archived cards, however. If you want a "full copy" of the board, the best bet is to copy each list individually and move it to your new board.
