Hello,
The 'create a new card by email' option does not have options for creating a card from an existing template by email.
In looking at the REST API's at
https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/trello/rest/
it seems like there are no specific options for working with a template either.
Is the workaround to get the checklists from the template with
and then use
to add the "copied" checklists to a new card?
Any help is appreciated. 😀
thanks,
Kevin
The best approach is using keepFromSource
'idCardSource': 'card_template_id',
'keepFromSource': 'checklists'
@Hyland, Kevin R. the solution you outlined is a good one, just build your template using Butler rules when a card is emailed into the board

@Hyland, Kevin R. thanks! Atlassian do actually send out nice things to community leaders and participants :) Although I've not been participating anywhere near as much the past 4 months due to being consumed by another project.
