Proper syntax to pass Custom Fields as URL parameters using POST TO action in card button

Hello, could someone please verify or correct my syntax for constructing a URL string which passes Custom Field values as URL parameters when a card button is clicked that uses the Butler POST TO action.

Ex. Custom Fields == First_Name, Last_Name
Ex. Internal variables == first, last

Ex. URL string:{{%First_Name}}&last={{%Last_Name}}

Also, how do I handle passing Custom Fields, like in the URL string above, whose names have spaces, i.e. 'First Name' instead of 'First_Name'?  I'm no HTTP expert but I do know URLs cannot contain spaces.

Thank you!

Hey Cody,

Would you mind reaching out to us at with a screenshot of your current Butler command you have set up please? That will give us more to go on, and we can take a closer look!
