Prevent empty scheduled reports?

Hi all.

I have created a weekly report for all outstanding cards.

The current issue I face is that if no cards match the filter a (blank) report is still sent.

I am looking to see if there is a way to only send the report if there are actually cards in the report, or if I have overlooked something?

I just know my colleagues won't be pleased with recieving "junk" emails, and I do not want to have to write a script to do this using Trello's API.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Hi Cameron,

Thanks for getting in touch about this.

The ability to only send reports if it contains data isn't possible with Trello, sorry about that. I understand how useful this would be, so I’ll pass your interest in this on to our team for consideration—let me know if there's any additional info you'd like for me to send their way.

If you are curious about how our team decides which requests we work on, we have published a blog post with detailed information on this process here: https://blog.trello.com/feature-requests-unite-support-and-product

Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns!
