Planner import from Jira not importing any tasks

in Jira I have ensured the tasks have Original estimate, Due date, assigned resource and Tempo Team populated.  In Tempo I have Manage Plans permission.  I have selected a date range that matches that of the tasks and is in the future.  I have selected the team of interest. in the Resource view, Import from Jira results in message 'no matching issues were found''.  i do see the jira tasks in the sidebar and can drag them  into the plan.  any suggestions on what is missing for the automated import?
