Permissions to boards

Hi there,

For my clients i create a workspace and a workspace has several boards. Only 1 off these boards i share with clients.

Last week i added 2 clients to a board in there workspace only to 1 board. I got an request to add them to the workspace witch i normaly dont get.

Today i added a client to that a new board in a different workspace. Direct after that i receive an email from trello that this person is requesting acces to my other clients boards. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE.

Can they see my other boards, i never gave them permission.

Anyone has an answer for me please

@Henk BROUWER if they're asking for permission then they cannot see the boards, so you don't have to worry about anyone seeing content they haven't been invited to. Could it be possible that you accidentally sent them a link to the other board, instead of the one you invited them to? I'm not sure there would be a way that they could find a board that they were not invited to unless it's in the same workspace OR they were sent a direct link to it.

Hi Brittany,

Thanks for your explanation, i thought the same. This board is in a complete other workspace.

I invite people when I am in that board, and got then a request to join that other board, maybe he could not enter but he saw that board and maybe more.

I added myself with a different email to a board and I direct able to see the complete workspace, also that is not good.

@Henk BROUWER what are the boards permission settings? Can you send a screenshot of the board near the title, like this?

@Henk BROUWER strange. if you want, you can try to send me an invite and ill see what it goes to for me! my username is britt_joiner

And just to be clear - are you sending invites by using the share button inside that board? Are you adding usernames or emails? Or are you generating a link and then sending that link to them?
