No templates, not fully functioning

I've just installed the Trello app on my Samsung Android phone. 

But it's not fully functioning like it's supposed to. In stead of all the great templates, options, backgrounds, etc I just get a black screen with very basic options. See added screenshot. And no templates are showing up. See added screenshot. I can only add a board and give it a name, but when I try to get the templates, they won't appear. 

I've emptied my cache, reinstalled the app several times, restarted my phone. Even when I use the webversion in stead of the app, I just get these basic black screens and no templates. 

Does anyone have suggestions to help me out? Very welcome, thanks! I'd love to be able to use Trello in my phone.

I misspoke, you can search for the template and add it from that board. You can't seem to do it from the "Create Board" screen.

Make sure you have selected the correct workspace.
