No response to submitting a template to the public gallery

I've submitted my template for inclusion in the public gallery. I get emails every month telling me it's stats, but it still does not appear in the public gallery.

I've not received any emails letting me know if there is an issue. 

What's up?

Thanks for reaching out and for submitting your template!

When submitting your template, there was a section to include your email address so if your template was chosen to be featured, we'd reach out. It sounds like your template hasn't been chosen at this point in time!

We send those stat emails so you're aware of how many times your template is viewed and copied.

I'm not sure that is particularly clear in the documentation. Maybe that could be clearer.

Also, what is the criteria to be picked and how frequently are templates reviewed for being picked?

Thanks for the feedback!

We do mention that your template could be featured in the gallery before you click into the form to submit your template:

And in the form, we do mention that we'd reach out if your template is selected:

However, I do understand that when you submit a template, there is an assumption that it would be featured in the gallery. Just a heads up, the team gets hundreds of submissions a week but we do really appreciate your enthusiasm!

For context, the team views all template submissions on a monthly basis, and because of the volume, they aren't able to reach out to everybody. Additionally, while we appreciate template submissions, we can't guarantee that we'll accept them, and usually tend to cap templates in the gallery from any one user at 3.

Moving forward, we'd encourage you to share the templates in you own networks as well (i.e. on Twitter, LinkedIn etc).

Sounds like the template is in the gallery by what you described.  They add them on a rolling basis so if you have shared it as described here:

Thanks Brant for replying. Lara has disclosed that inclusion into the gallery is a bit of a contest. If they like you, you are included. I can only hope they have a broad team with judges that cover every global industry to ensure assessment is even and fair, otherwise a template that is rather niche and industry specific that the judge doesn't value, but the industry does wouldn't be included.

That is, if I've understood what Lara briefly outlined.
