No longer have access to email account for verification

My trello account is linked to an old email address that I no longer have access to, I therefore can't log in to change my contact details.  Can anyone offer any advice on how to get around this issue please? Thanks!

Sorry to hear you are having issues getting your access back. Unfortunately, if you don't have access to the email used on your account, you cannot recover it. Accessing this email is the only way you have to prove that the account is yours, that's why we cannot make this change on behalf of a user.

If your old email is controlled by someone, your best bet is to contact the mailbox administrator of that domain to ask if they may be able to help you reclaim your account by temporarily recreating your old email address.
