Hello -
I can't see how to hide empty lists when I'm filtering my boards
Certainly, there is a way to do this. When I have 12 lists and want to see just the items I'm working on, I don't need nor would UI heuristics indicate that I'd have to constantly view all 10 empty lists all day rather than the 2 that have work items.
Am I missing something?
Thanks!
Rich
PS - Also, any idea why the sidebar shows open each time I use a link with the filter on? I have to close it each time. It covers up valuable elements on my screen that I need want to look at when I first see the board. Is there a way to turn this off?
I've wanted the ability to hide empty lists, and could not find a solution. So I wrote a bookmarklet that hides all empty lists, including lists that are empty based on the current filter. The bookmarklet can be used in different browsers, including Firefox and Chrome.
You can install the bookmarklet here: https://baincd.github.io/bookmarklet-hide-empty-trello-lists/
The source code for the bookmarklet can be viewed here: https://github.com/baincd/bookmarklet-hide-empty-trello-lists/blob/main/Hide-Empty-Trello-Lists-Bookmarklet.js
This is a fantastic solution and it works like charm. Many, many thanks!

Hi @RichExperiences ,
there is a way to do this with a Chrome extension : https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/trello-hide-empty-lists/lpaphageodfmpofbebinclojamdfomon
Let me know if this works,

Thanks. I saw this. Too bad it's not supported anymore. Reviews say it doesn't work.
