I work in property acquisition and we have just started using trello. Our boss wanted a trello for each part of the process: Acquisition; Property Management; and Listing.
We need to have someone cross over and have access to two of three boards.
My question is can we do this with one email or does this employee need separate emails for both boards?
We had another person helping out and it was their understanding one worker needed separate emails for each board (which I tried) yet i could not have both boards open at the same time.
Thank you for your assistance and gudiance.
A user (registered with 1 email) can have access to endless amount of boards (even across multiple workspaces if need be)
As an example I personally with my account have access to 34 boards across 4 different workspaces.
Having multiple board open at the same time it just having multiple browser tabs open.
Rasmus, thank you for this answer.
Is the 1 email based on what level workspace we've purchased? As I read on "Multi-board" guests, being new to troubleshooting issues, this is a little confusing with number of members allowed and the other verbiage regarding if they cease to be a member during a billing term, of if they drop during a billing term, etc.
For multiple boards I have tried multiple browser tabs open - we use Chrome - and I even pulled a tab off to have it's own window to see them side by side, yet when I "change accounts" on the new tab (and this is using the second email), it mirrors on my first tab and switches to the new board I just signed into.
So once I am able to figure out the 1 email across multiple boards it will for the time being help out two of us!
Thank you again for your reply.

Let me answer the last first: That is the reason you should not use mulitiple accounts... Multiple account can be done but best way to do it is one account in Chrome and another in example Firefox

As for free vs paid... If you are less that 10 users with less than 10 boards you can be on the free account and not pay anything.
If you are more than 10 users or need more than 10 boards you need a paid plan. In a such you need to pay for all user that have access to more than a single board.
I've made this 10 min video that explains it in more details: https://youtu.be/rqmCHU_QxY8?si=EJA-inK67x8t6Qan
