Master baord

Hello, 

We have a number of boards for each client. Each board has the same layout, the same number of cards and are all used the same way etc.. we really want one master board that looks over all boards / projects. ideally with a 2 way sync, so we can edit from the master as well as the individual board. 

i hope this makes sense and that someone can help. 

I did try using the Unito powerup, but from what i can see its only a free trial for 14 days then it charges alot! 

is there another way??

Yes i see this - however when we then move the card across different list, it doesn't move with it.. hope that makes sense.

For example, we add a new card to a 'New Job' list - we then get approval for that job in the 'Jobs Approved' list - that card doesn't then move along with it in the 'Master Board.. 

Do you know a way where we can use it for that..

It's possible to set that up using automation. If you have the same list names on each board, it will look like this:

Moving the the mirror card if the source card moves

when a card is moved into list "{*}", find a card titled "{cardlink}{*}" on board "YOUR BOARD NAME HERE", and move the card to the top of list "{triggercardlistname}" on board "YOUR OTHER BOARD NAME HERE"

Moving the the source card if the mirror card moves

when a card is moved into list "{*}", find a card with link "{cardname}", and move the card to the top of list "{triggercardlistname}" on board "YOUR BOARD NAME HERE"

If the lists have different names, it's very similar, but you'll need a different rule for each list and will need to choose the specific list instead of using variables as shown in the examples above.

Card mirroring is not a native feature in Trello. However, Unito is a great alternative for this functionality but as you mentioned is too expensive, you might want to explore the CardSync for Teams power-up, which can be found at this link as an option
