Make a Desktop Shortcut / Internet URL appear on Trello Cards

Hi folks,

I want to use Trello as my personal dashboard for the different facets of my life.

Professionally, I use web applications like Salesforce and Hubspot frequently. What I'd like to do is have them appear as card and then just be able to click on that card and launch into the application. Bonus would be if I could have the Salesforce or Hubspot icon be displayed in the card because that would make it easier visually to find and launch the application.

Currently, I have to label a card "Salesforce" and then I put the URL in description field.

This forces me to open the card before I can click on the URL. What I'd like is to just click on the card and have the URL be launched in another window.

Is this possible?

Hi Scott,

I think this markdown might do what you're looking for:
"This is a [link]("

That should produce a clickable link.

You can find more info here:

Markdown doesn't work in card titles according to the article you referenced. I tested it anyway and confirmed that it doesn't work

Any other ideas?

I completely missed that, just found the article on the fly.
Since that's the case and they haven't changed the titles to accept markup since the article was published, I unfortunately do not have any other suggestions.
