Hi,
I use Lists as copies from templates with cards in them. Meaning I have Template List 1 for 1 kind of project and others for others. Every time a project starts, I copy the template and rename it.
My question - is there a way to automatically add the date that the list was copied?
Hi Nina! I hope you're doing well!
I'm Felipe, nice to meet you :)
One option that might fit you is if you set specific labels to those cards and with it creates a rule that triggers a rule to add a date/comment in those new cards with this label. IT would work like this video: https://share.getcloudapp.com/9ZuzLA2A
If this option fits you, I'll let a Screenshot from the command below:
Let me know if this helps you!

Hi Felipe,
Thanks. I couldn't see the video but tried writing the rule to see what you mean. Can't get the trigger part though. How do I add the green label bit?
Here's a screenshot of what I got so far:
ahh never mind no way to add screenshots here.
Anyway the trigger says "when a card is added to the board by me"

Hi Nina! I hope you're doing well.
Can you check now if you're able to watch the video now? https://share.getcloudapp.com/9ZuzLA2A
In this case, I manually added the label, you can check this article about how to add a Label. To sum up, There are a few ways to add a label to a card, in this case, I opened the card and clicked on Labels.
I recorded how I configured the automation and you can check it on this link. In this case, I used the advanced option to set the Green label (you can select anyone) and automated to Butler set the Duo date to the time the command was triggered, However, you can select more option that fits you better (e.g Next Monday).
Additionally, you can find more information about how to automate your Boards with Butler here and how to use variables here to set a customized message.
Let me know if this works :)

Hi Felipe, Thank you!
The missing part was clicking on the advanced button in automation to see all the possible triggers.
I also saw the videos and you helped me tremendously. Really appreciate it.
