Hi! I want to automate messages from Trello to a channel in our Slack workspace.
Trello asks me to authorize our Slack workspace but doing so will give Trello permission to view content and info about individuals, channels and workspace.
Trello will also be able to send messages to channels which Butler is not a member of.
Is it possible to limit which permissions we give to Trello when authorizing?
Unfortunately, no @Henry Öhman. These permissions are required for the integration between Trello and Slack can work correctly.
Thanks for your answer.
Are there any plans on adding options to authorization?
If not, are there any other alternatives to automate sending messages to Slack?
In our scenario Trello only needs to send a notification to a specific channel automatically. No need for two way communication.
