Is there some way to disable auto-watching a card?

I don't at all like the recent behavior of trello setting me to "Watch" on any card that I comment on. This results in 10x the amount of notifications I have to dig through as I get notifications for cards moving around, etc.

This is a recent change (auto-watching on comment) and I would prefer it either be rolled back or at least have a per-person or per-board option to disable this behavior.

Does this exist? Can it exist?

Thanks!

Hi Jon

When you begin writing a comment, a 'Watch this card for updates' box appears. Uncheck that box, and Trello will remember the setting. Now when you comment, you won't automatically be 'watching' the card when commenting on further cards including this one. There's an image at this link for reference:
