Is there away to use Trello swimlane transitions to update a Jira status?

rthomson I'm New Here Feb 10, 2021

Hi,

I've seen that it is possible to create an issue on Jira from Trello using a power up. Is it possible to use the transition of the linked card to update the Jira issue?

Cheers

Rich

Our Butler automation tool has the ability to create Jira issues, or post comments to them, but doesn't look like it can change the status of a card in Jira I'm afraid: https://blog.trello.com/butler-automations-for-slack-jira

Beyond that, it looks like you could trigger this with an automation service like Zapier. I'd suggest checking them out! They can trigger actions in Jira when a card is moved to a new list in Trello - this may be just what you need!
