Is there away to add latest activity or a summary of a card to the email report board snapshot?

Is there anyway to add latest activity or a summary of a card onto the email report board snapshot?

I though about setting a rule that would when a label was applied it would create a new card on a different board with the name of the latest activity?

Would this be possible or any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Right now, it's not possible to add the last action on a card in an email report/snapshot.

I definitely understand how this could be helpful, so I've flagged this as a feature request with the product team.

Would you mind expanding a little more on your use case here? Any additional context you can add would really help! I'll be passing your feedback on to our product team, and want to ensure we've captured your use case.

I am also looking for this exact functionality. I want to generate an automatic report from the board, showing activity and progress on each card inside the board.

Just showing the title, description, etc isn't enough if what you are tracking in the board are active assets of some kind. For example, i'm using the CRM template to track a few dozen partners and where they are in their engagement with us. Every time I meet with them or get an email, I want an activity entry, and then at the time for the automated report, I just want to show the latest activity along with a link to the card for more info.

It may help to build your own custom reports using automation, variables, and Custom Fields. For example, if you're tracking activity as a Custom Field, you could set up a custom report such as:

create a report with all cards with custom field "Activity" set to a date between 1 and 7 days from now

Lara, thanks for the reply! How can I show for each card the latest comment listed within the last week? What's the custom field definition look like? I haven't seen anything like that in the docs.

Hi John,

I'm afraid there isn't a way to pull a card's last comment – that's not a field you can track in Trello.

The custom reports option is if you use Custom Fields and you'd like to use that field to track, for example, a 'last updated' date.
