Is there a way to turn off covers?

I get that some people probably like them and I get that I can remove them, but I would prefer to turn them off and be able to opt in.

Hi Burson!

There's no option to turn it off for the Entire workspace but you can Disable them on the board level. 

Please follow the below instructions to Disable Card Covers -

• Click on 'Show Menu' on the top right corner of your board.
• Click on 'More'
• Click on 'Settings'
• You should see an option 'Card Covers Enabled', Click on it uncheck!

This will remove the card covers from the board. Hope this helps :)
