Is there a way to turn Trello cards into Github issues? Edited

We have a public backlog on Trello and a private backlog in Github. I want to be able to automatically push into Github when a card is added to the backlog in Trello. So if a card is added, it is added as an issue in Github.

Is that possible? I know there is a Github powerup, but it just mentions getting data from Github into trello cards, not the other way around.

Hi Nick,

While this would be beyond the scope of the Power-Up, you could set up something like this using a third-party automation tool, such as Zapier or IFTTT.

It would also be possible to write a custom script for this using the Trello and GitHub APIs. Trello's API is fully documented here:

Thanks Caity, I will have a play.
