Hi everyone.
I want Trello to send a reminder email, not just a notification of the due date, to a specific member of the board when the card is due, containing certain information. I'm not looking for an automatic reminder, but the ability to compose an email with a specific body and title. I figured maybe there is a way to set the card title to the title I want for the email, add the email body as the card description, then send the card as an email using Butler rules. Is something like this possible? If not, is there maybe a workaround or another way to achieve this?
Much appreciated.
Hi @Leena Abu Shmais 👋
Christl from SendBoard here - makers of the Email for Trello Power-Up.
You could use Butler Automation to send the email notification. In that case you can look at including Butler variables to include card details in your notification. You can read more about butler variables here https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/butler-variables/
You can also the Email for Trello Power-Up and use variables to pull data from the card in to your emails and saved replies. You can read more about Email for Trello variables here https://help.sendboard.com/en/articles/4219239-include-variables-in-your-emails-and-saved-replies
Hope that helps!
