In JIRA you can make the workflow go in only certain directions. In Trello it appears that anyone can move a card to any list. Is there a way to steer the workflow so that card movement is limited to only certain lists? I know you can create buttons to do this, but it does not prevent someone from being able to move the card without using the button, if they choose.
Where the part is underlined, you could replace with specific names or exclude specific names...
I have worked out for a client with Trello Automation to move the card back to the current list if the card does not meet the criteria set in the rule. You need to make sure the criteria is tight enough. This is particularly important/useful especially when the downstream automation is dependent on the right conditions being set on a card.
