Is there a setting to stop Trello from sending emails about archived cards?

Currently Trello is sending out emails for every card being archived to all "members" of a card. Is there a way to avoid this?

If the member is watching the card, they'll be notified if the card is archived – there isn't a way to opt-out of this. I definitely understand how this could be helpful, so I've flagged this as a feature request with the product team.
